Blaugust Reborn and Parsing Being a “Content Creator”

I love writing. Even if many times I don’t feel I’m very good at it and even more times feel like I shouldn’t be even in the periphery of professionals, I enjoy it all the same. A sort of tortured artist, except without really knowing torture.

That said, you’d be forgiven for thinking I don’t like writing considering how infrequently I post here. So, yes, I’m re-entering Blaugust in its rebirth as a personal challenge to know if I really want to be a content creator. But what does that mean, honestly?

And how much of my desire to do this to myself was born from enjoying this very colorful logo?

Yesterday I touched on the gaming facet of my life.  Today, I’ll be going on about my writing facet–a part of my existence that I, frankly, wasn’t really sure was going to pan out.

See, I’m not sure I consider myself a writer per se.  I’m even stunned to be doing what I’m doing now with this blog here.  I know my metrics and viewership isn’t exactly a barn-burner, but the idea that even that many people read my stuff is honestly a staggering thing.

Blaugust Day 10 – Another Way of Doing Things

It’s day 10 and I derped out on what I wanna write about, so I should first give an immediate shout-out to A Green Mushroom for his posting on the Blaugust 2015 Writing Prompts thread.  In said thread, he asks this question:

f you were to create content for a different medium what would you choose? Videos, Streaming, Podcast, Something Else? What about that medium appeals to you as a content creator?
