Pardon the stupid title. I’m feeling kind of free-flowing with today’s post.

If you follow my Twitter feed, I’m sorry. Also, you perhaps have been exposed to some general malaise about the need to have two jobs, particularly since the second job is a soul-crushing but necessary for survival in capitalist America hellscape that is casino customer service (again, I’m sorry). Now that I’ve been writing professionally for a little bit, I’m starting to get it in my head that I’m capable of doing more writing. Self-published writing.

Blaugust Reborn and Parsing Being a “Content Creator”

I love writing. Even if many times I don’t feel I’m very good at it and even more times feel like I shouldn’t be even in the periphery of professionals, I enjoy it all the same. A sort of tortured artist, except without really knowing torture.

That said, you’d be forgiven for thinking I don’t like writing considering how infrequently I post here. So, yes, I’m re-entering Blaugust in its rebirth as a personal challenge to know if I really want to be a content creator. But what does that mean, honestly?

And how much of my desire to do this to myself was born from enjoying this very colorful logo?

Yanno what?  My last couple of posts have been a bit blah.  I mean, I feel like I ended them on an upbeat note, and I tried to interject some humor in to the subjects I was touching on…but overall, I think it’s high time that I do a full post that accentuates the positive.

And, since digital mannerisms and behaviors have been rather forefront in my head a lot recently, I think I’ll sing the virtues of the internet.  Like a Julie Andrews with significantly less talent.
